David brings an approach to resolving his clients’ legal issues that is rooted in a deep understanding of the law but is very pragmatic. He is happy to work with clients on simple and complex matters and within the confines of a client’s resources.

Mukta Batra is an associate at Wagner Sidlofsky LLP. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Mukta worked in the legal department of a professional association of Ontario Educators. She has previously practiced Commercial Litigation in India and US Federal Law.

Harkirt was an associate in the Firm’s Estate and Commercial Litigation Groups. Prior to joining the Firm, Harkirt articled at a full-service litigation firm in Toronto where he focused primarily on commercial litigation matters.

Gregory Sidlofsky is an experienced litigation lawyer certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. Greg aggressively and successfully advocates for his clients. He appears regularly before all levels of court in Ontario and before various administrative tribunals. Greg has also represented clients in proceedings before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Bradley Phillips is an experienced litigation lawyer with a diverse practice history which enables him to provide a breadth of knowledge and experience to his clients. His practice includes commercial, estate and insurance litigation.

Peter is a partner at Wagner Sidlofsky LLP. Prior to joining the firm, Peter spent the first years of his litigation career representing class members in class actions regarding alleged breaches of the Securities Act and Competition Act. He has also been involved in files dealing with oppression remedies, derivative actions, and breach of contract disputes.

Craig is certified as a Specialist in Estates and Trusts Law. His practice includes all aspects of estate, trust, capacity, fiduciary and power of attorney disputes and litigation for clients consisting of individuals, trust companies, government agencies and other organizations.

Tanisha is a partner at Torkin|Manes in the Trusts & Estates and Litigation Groups, practising commercial litigation, professional liability defence, and trusts and estates litigation. 

David practices exclusively in commercial and estate litigation. He appears regularly on behalf of clients in shareholder disputes, oppression remedies, contractual disputes and torts. In the context of estate litigation fights, David routinely is involved in Will Challenges, executor and accounting disputes.

Hershel is a leading Ontario practitioner in the areas of Professional Liability, Product Liability and Commercial Insurance. He assertively pursues his clients’ interests. He has been described as “… skilled in the tactical use of procedural steps and proactive in his advice to his client.”

Brendan’s practice focuses on litigious estate, trust, and capacity matters, including will challenges, dependant’s support claims, guardianship proceedings, and disputes involving powers of attorney. Brendan began his legal career at a full-service national law firm on Bay Street. He branched out in 2011 to begin work in estates and commercial litigation at a well-known boutique in Toronto. Brendan co-founded Donovan Kochman LLP with Noah Kochman in 2018. He is a frequent guest speaker and author for continuing professional development seminars.

James is a partner at Wagner Sidlofsky LLP. He practices exclusively in the areas of estate litigation, where he is certified as a Trust and Estate Practitioner, and commercial litigation. As a former criminal defence lawyer, James is well accustomed to high conflict, high stakes litigation. James is an assertive, knowledgeable advocate for his clients.

Amelia is the founding principal lawyer of Elm Law Professional Corporation, a law firm located in the regional municipality of Durham, Ontario practising in the areas of family law, estate litigation and elder law.

Amelia was called to the bar of Ontario in 2007 and worked under both Gregory Sidlofsky and Charles Wagner before opening Elm Law in 2016. Her practice is focused on estate litigation, power of attorney disputes and family law where it intersects with estates, elder law and/or power of attorney issues.
