This Lunch and Learn seminar will talk about Mediation. Key topics include the relevant rules of meditation; examinations prior to mediation; appointment of an ETDL, who to choose as an ETDL, and whether to post a corporate bond; and tax issues to be considered. Strategic considerations will also be covered, such as choosing a mediator; when to go to mediation; client preparation; the Mediation Brief; and drafting the settlement agreement.
